glittered fruit
Glittered fruit makes a beautiful and unusual table setting and can be achieved with any firm, fresh varieties. Provided the fruit is not overripe to begin with, it will easily last a day or two so may be done the day before your celebration.
Store in a cool place
you will need:
fresh fruit
craft glue
glitter
paint brush
bowl and dessert spoon
how to:
1. Make sure the fruit is clean and dry, before brushing all over with craft glue
2. Pour glitter into a deep bowl and use a dessert spoon to cover the fruit with glitter. You may find it easier to hold the fruit by the stalk or threaded onto a thin skewer
3. Leave for a few hours to dry before dusting off the excess glitter. Place onto coloured tissue paper to keep excess glitter at bay and write a small card name tag if using as a place setting
