See highlights of the national capital's rich photographic collections through exhibitions, conferences and events, including giant images projected on the Australian War Memorial’s building.

Art Deco 1910–1939
Melbourne plays exclusive host this winter to the most comprehensive exhibition of Art Deco ever staged.

Opening on 28 June at the National Gallery of Victoria, Art Deco 1910–1939 presents more than 300 Art Deco masterpieces from London’s famed Victoria and Albert Museum as well as public and private collections around the world.

Lovers of fashion will swoon over the gorgeous Deco brooches made from precious gems by Cartier and the exquisite fashion by Chanel. You can imagine them being worn in the glamorous foyer of the Strand Palace Hotel in London which has been restored especially for this exhibition.

Brisbane's up-and-coming fashion designers are taking centre stage at the South Bank Young Designers' Market. Committed to showcasing Brisbane's creative talents, the South Bank Young Designers' Market will consist of 40 stalls, which will give designers the opportunity to sell their pieces directly to the public.

The South Bank Young Designers' Market will be an extension of the current South Bank Lifestyle Market, which operates every Friday night, Saturday and Sunday.

Australian Body Art Carnivale, Eumundi
The Australian Body Art Carnivale is a tantalising showcase of body artists from all over Australasia. It showcases body artistry in all its forms with workshops, exhibitions and performances in this ancient artform. The whole township of Eumundi is alive with music and themed with body art as it's focus. There are a number of body art, face painting and photography competitions and a fantastic new component of a Wearable Art Competition which will be exciting to see. Another new addition will be a Pavement Art Exhibition and again this year will be the Art Of The Body Exhibition with exceptional still works of art and sculptures.
